I can think of only one policy in this area that I could support. I think that severely mentally retarded females should be sterilized. A woman with an IQ below 60 is not capable of taking care of herself much less a child. But she is capable of becoming pregnant.

Not discarded but taken with a grain of salt. Hitler was not the first nor the last evil person to use something to justify a destructive plan. The eugenics "movement" in the US was not as grand as the author implies in the article. The Carnegie's of the world were funding lots of things.

Not only that, but has the RIGHT to become pregnant.

I hear you. I didn't research the author or opposing views so I don't know if all of his details are accurate. I suspect that where he sites direct quotes though, they are.

I'm sure it was. However, the author was basically stating that Hitler used the U.S. eugenics program as a source of inspiration for his experiments into the same areas. And so did some of his scientist.

I always get a kick out of the Nazi master race bit when I look at the photos of some of their leaders. They were some ugly mofos. I thought Germans were supposed to be smart. What a collection of psychopaths.

I have no idea what their genetics were. But I do know that B/W photography in those days did not show blond hair and blue eyes very well. My dad was a very light skinned blue eyed blond. Pics of him from 1930 show him with brown hair. He did not have brown hair.
I only inherited half of it since he married my Spanish Mom with black hair and dark skin.

Not talking about Hitler but photography of that era in general. I've never seen a single photo of any German in that era that showed blond hair. So, there were NO blonds in Germany?
