The quality of play is way better. Not just people holding onto past glory hanging around high school kids.

I thought I heard that MC has 50 guys on the team but 15-20 didn't travel. I'm sure travelling costs a lot of money and obviously took a lot out of them. I think that is the reason for all the cramping. You get dehydrated on long road trips on a bus.

A racially-charged letter, which did not contain threats, was received by Miami Central Senior High School," it read. "The letter was allegedly mailed from Alabama - where Central's football team is scheduled to play on Saturday. As a coach who has travelled with a team on a plane I can tell you the process of travelling is much more than just the time on the plane. Bus ride from school to airport, then hanging around at airport, then getting your transportation to your hotel. Just for a 90 minute flight, it can take 4-5 hours to get from school to the hotel.

1.) Miami Central did not have the amount of cramping it did because of lack of players.
2.) Miami Central did not take an 11+ hour bus ride to the outskirts of Birmingham, Alabama.

As a player who has traveled with a team on a plane, it is less exhausting for a 15-18 year old than you're making it out to be.
