the results will be the same. If not worse for JFF.

I don't expect JFF to succeed, but Tim Tebow is the worst QB to ever take a significant amount of snaps in the NFL.

Never once did I claim that. But let's not forget they got curbstomped in the Super Bowl by a better team...per usual for the infallible Manning who people claim is the whole team, same as Brady, Brees, etc. The QBs are held to a higher standard than any other position in football. Fact.

The Broncos also started 1-4 before Tebow started, and went 8-5 with him. All I'm saying is every time give me a guy with heart, that does the right things, and that wins over a guy with great stats but nothing to show for it like Romo, a shitty attitude like RG3, or someone that will never get the job done like Hoyer, Geno, or Cassel.

Absolutely true. Dude is an athlete, just not a QB.

Ok? Let's go back to the point that Dilfer's Super Bowl, and Sanchez's back-to-back AFC Championship appearances are constantly overlooked because they weren't any good, while Tebow backing into a home playoff game is reason people believe he "just needs another chance with a team that believes in him."

I would have taken Romo on that team in heart beat.

The other guys may not be any good, but that doesn't make Tebow good enough to supplant them. I don't see the point in arguing " I'd rather have this shitty QB over those shitty QBs."

He won, plain and simple. Took the Broncos to the playoffs for the first time in years and got past divisional round in standard Tebow fashion.

He was 24 as well. Absolutely zero shot a kid that age could possibly improve under a good QB coach, you're right. Never happens
You can lose the condescending tone and still make your point.

His numbers were terrible. When your numbers are that terrible, the team is winning despite you, not because of you.

33rd in completion percentage
27th in QB rating

Denver was 31st in passing yards

He really didn't, though. He is a bad passer, there is no getting around that. In a passing league, you have to adapt or get left behind.

Eta: do you think any NFL team gave him a real shot to be himself? I don't. .. so we can't know if he would have been a great NFL QB

I don't see why everyone thinks he'd be good at another position.
I think he's a good athlete and a good runner. Moreover, it's hard to imagine him being worse at another position.

Because (a) they don't know what they're talking about or (b) are trolling.

That sounds like something Mike Ditka would say. Romo would have lit it up in Denver, especially as good as their D played down the stretch.

You can't place the long-term success of your team on a QB with numbers that bad. They were terrible.
