As a place to live, Breck is a very nice place if you can put up with the crowds. Given a choice I'd rather live in Frisco but Breck is cool.

As a destination, I think it's very overrated. There are too many people in not enough space and the skiing in particular is fairly basic for the most part (there are exceptions if you know where to look).
