It's not. That's 36% below MSRP. A lot of those websites are just used to get you in the door. Then they say well we don't have the one you want, but here's what we got and we'll frick you on interest rate and trade in.

Actually it is legit because I recently bought 2 new cars using truecar. You get your quote ($15k like I posted) and about 3 local dealers will call you. All of them will honor the price. I chose the one that gave threw in free 200k powertrain warranty on brand new Hyundai Sonata.

Not all dealerships participate though. My family lives in Nashville and none of the dealers there were offering price that low. They drove down to Atlanta where I live to get the deals.
