I won't call you names. I won't bash you for this comment. But I will ask what you were hoping to achieve by posting that?

Not trying to change the topic, but did anyone's see Shea's article about who will fill the remaining 10 spots? It was a VIP article so I didn't see it. I know many of the possibilities we have to finish this class, but didn't know if Shea threw some names out that I wasn't anticipating.

Why even answer to this guy's post. Negative Nancy and Debbie Downer must be his mother and sister.

Cut the guy a break. If you look at the Rankings LSU is not in the top 10. Doesnt mean we wont finish in the top 10.We are used to being in there. Is it wrong to be concerned when 4 of the other sec west schools are ahead of you?maybe? For those that say stars dont matter then why is miles stating that LSU finished ranked 2nd in the nation in recruting? I believe we finish with alot of guys we want but some of Louisianas top players may leave the state and we may have to take a project player or hopefully a skilled player from another state. It happens at all the schools not just LSU.

I agree it is early and i'm really over hanging onto a recruits every word hoping he goes to LSU . Until i see LSU just getting whipped by more talented teams which hasn't happened yet then I'm ok with our recruiting. The staff knows what they are doing.

I think 15 is a little more reasonable this time of year. The trend to have up to 20 now is part of the problem with recruiting. That's when coaches get into trouble and they start backing off recruits if their sr year is not what it was all cracked up to be or a player gets injured or there is someone that blows up their sr year no one really knows about.

Were the same people complaining when in the early 2000s Miami had nearly zero commitments? The at around signing day, the holdouts that were top five at their position would commit to them?

The rant would have said, " why are we not holding out for a five star RB? Why did we take Jacob Hester?"

If we had twenty five, would you complain that we didn't get any during the all American ua and army games?

I just dont get the worried about recruiting ranters.
Do the Gumps, have these as well?

Last year shouldve proven that the Tigers know what they are doing.

Sit back, relax and watch these guys recruit and sign terrific players. They'll get it done.

It's also funny to me how much logic people lack around here. Lets do some simple math.

LSU is ranked 12th with 10 spots left.
To the OP's point, a few other schools classes are almost full meaning they can't possibly take many more recruits. This means their classes are basically finished and LSU isn't that far behind them with 10 less players. Yet somehow LSU is in a dire situation.

Or maybe once LSU closes and picks up it's last 9 or 10 guys, we'll be right up there with everyone else.

But by all means, everyone panic.

we will definitely fill our class but worried that it may be not with our first choice recruits but just bodies to fill.

38 of Rivals 100 have not committed yet. Do you suggest we just move on from the recruitment of the guys that haven't made a decision yet
