All of this stuff is sinking in out there in the populous. They are learning about the warning of the Founders, and the reason the whole idea behind the Constitution was to LIMIT GOVERNMENT POWER.

The fact that an untrustworthy Government (IRS, VA, NSA, DOJ, et al) now controls/creates the wealth through a Central Bank and allocates it through subsidies...has become a quasi-Corporation where Unions kick back money to them who pass the subsidies and whose employees are untouchable for even the most atrocious abuse...and will soon control what is left of the Healthcare system...and a Government who virtually opens the Border door to unqualified mass immigration when our National debt has doubled in the last 5 years...all makes the Bergdahl thing look like small potatoes.

This train has left the station. The next decade will be "transformational".

You described a whole bunch of storm clouds converging to make the imperfect storm.

Chuck Hagel is a sock puppet.

Oh so he was "just following orders", right? Is that the excuse Republican Chuck Hagel is going to use when those Guantanamo inmates kill Bambi and blow up DC?

I hate the son of a bitch as much as the next guy, but there is a line somewhere back behind your feet.

...want to talk about lines being crossed? Talk about the blatant abuse of the US Constitution by this idiot. Besides, there are other methods for removal that do not involve what I think you are eluding to. Think about it for a while.

Im tired of people ridiculing anyone suggesting Obama be impeached. Would it be a political mess? Maybe but he has broken the law. Why should everyday Americans be held to the law but he not?

What I think is crazy is not the people calling for impeachment but the fact that holding a President accountable to the law is somehow considered out of line.

The world of politics in the US is upside-down right now. Really upside down. It's like we're living in bizarro world. Wrong is right, right is wrong, black is white and white is black and it's being manipulated by the media if we stop and think about it. It's all media driven.

Ferguson confirmed this notion for me.

There needs to be an Impeachment proceeding on this.

This is a written-in-stone limit on the Executive branch's power that was broken. Allowing this to pass is nothing less than a tacit approval of the Executive expanding their power into the Legislative branch and that new authority becomes the norm. Thus any future expansion of the Executive's power starts from at least this point.

Our political leaders should be MORE subject to the laws they swear to uphold, not less. If breaking a Constitutional limit on authority doesn't qualify as a "high crime or misdemeanor" then nothing does and we might as well just toss the Constitution now as its demise will be just an eventuality because no one has the balls to enforce it.

Considering the crap BhO has already pulled, just think what he'll do over the next two years the closer he gets to his exodus... no telling...

Just for us regular folk. We will be held accountable for actions far more miniscule than some of these criminals.

Obama also broke the law with the Osama bin Laden raid.

Bush broke the law plenty of times as well.

30 years after Iran Contra, I really don't see why we should give a shite. The government is gonna do what it wants to to do.
So if say... someone is in a abusive relationship for 30 years... they should just look the other way and continue to "take it"?
