This is the only thing that I agree with you on. Hopefully we get to the point where the Power 5 teams all play the same amount of conference games (8 or 9, doesn't matter) and then only schedule non-conference games against other Power 5 teams.

I can deal with the MAC/AAC/WAC/SunBelt here and there, but I've always never cared for playing the 1AA schools.

I think that's the best solution, IMO.

This sounds great but playing these games is how small schools have football programs. If they went away with it we would have 1/3 of the college football teams. Youd think that would be great but it really wouldnt.

I see it both ways. Cupcake games are a needed evil
