Our DL and S turnaround from as recent as two years ago is amazing.

I was hoping if Beckham didn't fall in the draft we'd get Cooks. The thing I always found underrated about Cooks is his hands. People know about his speed but I think they underestimate his quickness too. A lot of WRs in the NFL are huge and have blazing speed but lack that quick juke move that Cooks has. Can't wait to see what he does here.

SJB will be on the 53. He won't be on the PS

I know he hasn't looked great, but they didn't draft him to start this season (at least I hope).

You don't cut or PS a second round pick year one.

Wow...6 sounds way more than 5.....6 would be a surprise.

6 would be more than usual, but it would be really tough to cut any of those guys. Maybe we only keep 4 RBs instead of the usual 5. Have Falnders or Strozier done enough to even earn a spot on the 53? Also, with Cooks taking some of the plays Sproles used to run, does that lessen the need for a 5th RB?

6 safeties on this team would not be a surprise at all IMO. I'd be surprised if they keep fewer than 6 TBH

Agreed.

I originally thought the 4th and 5th spots would come down to Sunseri and Ball.

Nah, I don't see a 5th RB. However, if Lorig doesn't IR, they'll have to keep another FB. That would be two when they hadn't done that in years.

I wouldn't go that far, but six safeties would not surprise me at all.
We're going to run three safeties over 50% of the time this year.
