Yeah. Was excited Elam was back. But they just fricked him up too much for him to remain.

Me the last 2 episodes:

Good, Elam is back.

WOW, he is fricked up.

Okay, Bohannon and Eva will get him straightened out.

shite! Didn't see that coming. Did George RR Martin start writing for this show?

When Elam got stabbed I thought, "He'll be okay, didn't hit any vital organs."

Then Bohannon shoots him.

Guess Common wanted off the show.

Had to be it. I hate it, because I liked the interaction of Elam and Bohannon. We need more Mickey. It looks like he is going to be featured in next week's episode.

Been watching this show religiously for three years now. Can't believe it doesn't get any love come awards time.

The way they kill off so many major characters does leave a GOT taste in your mouth.

Agreed. I'm more interested to see how he handles things now.

Would be my guess as well.

Initially I was shocked at how it turned out, but after thinking about it for a while I can see why they had to do it that way.

First, Bohannon wasn't going to let the Feds kill him, and I think he knew that even if Psalms brought the horse, the governor wasn't going to let Elam out of there alive.

Secondly, I think it was to show how much Bohannon has changed and evolved. To go from a slave owning rebel to opening crying over the death of his black friend.

Yeah it was easily the shocker of the entire series so far.

Was bummed to see him brought back only to die.

Guess the bear left him with brain damage to the front of his brain? Was disheartening to see how that played out. Even though his acting wasn't that great, I liked the character interaction.

Maybe psalms and that new big black bald guy will take the place. I like Psalms more as the show goes on.

Just watched it on my lunch break. He stabs him and I'm like oh I bet that will jar him back to sanity... Wait why is he getting his gun? Definitely didn't see it coming. Hope Bohanon starts tearing shite up now. Really want to see the governor get his. Very unlikeable villian which I guess is the point.

I read somewhere that common wanted to get back to music and that filming in Calgary every year was holding him back.

I for one would rather see him keep acting cause his music is shite.

He did because he wanted to focus on his music career.

I guess this is where Eva is going to get her BBC fix from now on. You know what they say...

Not sure where they are going with Cullom's wife. They seem to seriously dislike eachother. Plus she's still all Mormony. Not sure I see that working out. Wondering if they are going to have Brigham Young be a bad guy. Kind of alluded to it when he tells the Swede he knows he is a liar but is going to use him for his skills on the railroad.

Brigham Young entered into deals with the Union Pacific and Central Pacific railroads, providing hundreds of Mormon men as much-needed laborers in the final rush to complete the line. The original agreements were that the men were to be paid in cash, a very scarce commodity in drought and grasshopper-plagued Utah. Very little of that cash was ever seen or paid, and the whole thing turned into a massive swindle.

The show is LOOSELY based on actual history

I doubt they kill him. Even though the show is loosely based on history, I doubt they kill off John Campbell as he eventually leaves that position to take on other political roles.

They will probably have him forced out of Wyoming somehow after this season IMO.

*Spoilers*

I liked how Durant exacted justice on one of his henchman however. With a club made from a large leg bone no less.
