It's 3am, and our POTUS has an 8 o'clock tee-time.

The average American man has embraced bitchmadeness. I tend to blame it on too much guidance from mummy and the wife. Many blame others because their 13yo sons cry like little girls when they lose (or win?) softball games.

So sad.

You've given the OP a true lesson on what a good insult looks like. His was cheaply manufactured and forced, yours well-crafted and easy.

So, isn't ISIS the same outfit that Obama wanted to help in Syria?

I guess we're supposed to forget about that?

It's a damn shame they didn't get Bergdahl to prove their point.

ISIS is the same outfit that Obama DIDN'T help in Syria. Let's not deal in hypotheticals and start accusing politicians of thought crimes.

I don't get what you want him to do? Troops on the ground to invade a country we just got out of?

Well, yes... he said so explicitly... "all of it

Well, that's not how I interpreted that part, but I guess you could be right. OP clarification needed. I took it as "now you own what happens going forward"

Exactly - Obama has no options on any of the foreign conflicts. None. I don't get the criticism.

You couldn't possibly be any more disingenuous, trackfan.

The only reason Obama didn't help ISIS in Syria was because public opinion (91%) and Congress STOPPED him.

I don't think anyone here wants more American troops sent back to Iraq.

This logic phenomenon has blown my mind for the past several years. When did the American PEOPLE start deciding when our military should or should not be deployed? I've heard Obama and several other politicians (from both sides) say, "the American people don't want another war".

The President is supposed to be the Commander in Chief. This means he has access to a lot a facts and intelligence that the public does not, and therefore is best equipped to make decisions as to when military actions are warranted. Not a fricking poll.

I know all of this, but you're still criticizing him for what he thought and not what he did. Is there any other point you want to make?

Why should I make a second point?

You didn't get the first point.

Of course I did. You hate Obama not only for the things that he did but also for the things that he contemplated doing.

So you think we should vote on when to use our military?
