IDGAF if they change the name. I can, however, see why the name raises controversy and, on the other hand, why Dan Snyder would want to protect his brand. I also DGAF if someone decides to not refer to them as the Redskins for whatever dumb reason he decides. I just find the outrage on both sides to be humorous, particularly among people that have ZERO connection to Indian culture or the Washington Redskins white knighting for how important it is that Snyder doesn't "give in" and on the other side acting like they're doing some kind of substantial social justice.
