Let? Is this a serious question? How about because it is their Constitutional right to vote?
You know damn well what I mean. Registering ("letting") more economically vulnerable people vote means it will be more difficult to enact the much-needed spending cuts.

I'm not a democrat

Rush Limbaugh is just an arrogant blowhard, and I don't listen to anything he says.

Al Sharpton slammed the Black Ferguson residents on his show today. He said it's their fault that the local government is almost all White, because in 2012 there was a 54% turnout among Blacks for the Presidential election but the next year there was only a 6% turnout for the local elections.

Having more producers vote is a good thing. We need less of the parasites participating.

Sure. How do you know this tent is registering more parasites than producers?

Don't see this as much different than a republican voter registration in a conservative setting, like a gun show or something. It happens.

I still view this as more egregious seeing as this is off the heels of a death but look at the bright side, at least these folks voting are still alive.

edit: realized I'm dumb

If they're registering to vote, you know they aren't convicted felons and that they don't have any outstanding warrants.

Because they are out protesting, a circumstance that is looking more and more trayvonish by the way, instead of working?

Considering the fact that the vast majority of the protests have been taking place after 5:00 PM and on weekends, I think you're off base.

Is it not racist in the media's suggestion that a majority black town must vote for black candidates?

No one is telling them to vote for any particular candidate, they're just telling them to vote, assuming that 90% will vote for Democrats and/or Blacks.

So they didn't setup the voter registration tents until 5pm?

I'm not concerned with people registering. I am just concerned about the likelihood that those registered will "vote" in elections unbeknownst to them.

This would be a good test case to track those who register at these tents and see how many actually vote. This has fraud written all over it down the road. Democrats hate letting an unused vote go to waste.

I am anxious to to see the Ferguson utopia after this voter registration drive and the mayor, city council, and police chief are all black. It'll no doubt be a template for the entire country to follow.

Assuming this is true, you don't see the problem with pandering to the emotions of a populace during a perceived crisis to secure votes?

Really?

You mean like holding a political convention in New York and invoking 9/11 all the time during the 2004 presidential election?

To be fair white turnout was only 17%, having the elections in April has a lot to do with it-- that's just poor electoral design--unless of course you're in city government and you don't want people to vote.
