This. Lack of jurisdiction.

Although another autopsy may yield marginally different results, if it is found that the shots were fired as he faced the officer, wouldn't terminal ballistics be the preferred science here?

Disagree

The Obamas and Holder are done with public service come 2016.

This is about aligning themselves with the right people and receiving boons for when they leave office and so they can start making Clinton level money.

He should be required to articulate exactly what the extraordinRy circumstances are.

If this is the case, it further destroys the narrative that the suspect was 'shot in the back.'

But it doesn't make the shooting justified.

Depending on how this turns out... Ibsaid when Obama was running that a black president might feel compelled to take certain actions because blacks (and their champions) might expect it. That's bad, imo. This could be one of those times.

Nobody is claiming that it does...

But having the two key witnesses, that prosecutors would use, completely contradicted by the evidence will kill any credibility they may have had.

Thanks. I'm not well acquainted with either science. I was curious as to whether state or Feds would take lead.

State is in the lead. Feds do their own civil rights investigation.

Typically the Feds stay out of the way and just use the states evidence once the state has concluded their investigation.

I think some people here have picked a side and are rooting.

Im not rooting for anything... My views have completely 180d over the past week.

I said over and over again that I thought an initial shot from the car could be justified if Mike and him were struggling through the window, but I didn't see any way that the officer would need to fire 5-7 additional shots as he was running away.

However, the key witnesses testimony is suspect, now that he was involved in the robbery and failed to mention it, and the other girl seems to be close to Mike. Additionally, the radio interview with the friend of the officer and now the youtube video with the witness comments give credence to him shooting, Mike initially running, and then turning around to confront the officer and charging.

We shall see what other info comes out.

They might as well bring in Fahmy Malak for the autopsy.

And in the second autopsy they will find indisputable proof that the front of a man is now the back of a man.

And vice versa.

Don't forget, Brown is one of in Holder's own words, "his people".

I thought it was interesting in the robbery video he is leaving then he turns on the owner and backs the owner down.

Did he try the same thing with the officer?
