Anyone else use Dish's Tailgater? (Change to Easter arc?)

Called yesterday to reactivate mine for football season (last year was our first season with this thing and it works great)....,when I called yesterday, Dish lady told me they're switching to the Eastern Arc and that a tech would have to come out. After unsuccessfully trying to charge me $150 for that visit, she waived the charge.
Anyway, I'm still confused, as it's a portable automatic antenna...what exactly does the tech have to do? ...an actual physical hardware adjustment to the receiver or Tailgater antenna itself?
Update: as I somewhat expected, the Cust Service rep(s) I spoke to this past weekend while activating my Dish/Tailgater that told me a tech visit was necessary didn't know WTF they were talking about....the tech came by today, didn't have to do anything, my service just needed to be activated, which could have been done over the phone when I first called to do exactly that. He apologized for the inconvenience and admitted that the service reps didn't know what they were talking about.
So if a rep tells you a tech is necessary for activating your Tailgater, tell him/her that she is wrong and to activate your service.
As I told the reps on the phone initially, a tech would only be necessary if you have a mounted dish at home...as we all know, the Tailgater is automatic, no adjustment(s) needed.

No clue - always wanted one of these when I was driving cross country. How much did it cost?

Dunno.
We got something like that a year or two ago. Auto dish thingie is awesome to have. Just place the dome on top of the RV and you are pretty much done.

I'm following this, please let us know what the tech does. I planned on reactivating mine next weekend. I'm not paying for a tech to come out, that's bs.
