that's called projection

there may be a vague sense of self emerging as that thought surfaces

The fact that you would say this about anyone else makes me realize how delusional you are.

Do you believe that it was done deliberately?

Why are you asking this? CNN has a long and in-your-face history of editing video to eliminate content that doesn't comport to the "narrative" being pushed.

Don't you remember the Trayvon Martin case, as a prime example?

Why call on Rex for this question?

58,

I feel exactly the way you do. But, you and I decrying media bias isn'texactly "man bites dog" news.

Here's an instance where one of the biggest liberals on PT was pointing out that he was disappointed that CNN had edited the video, and not only that, but Rex said the deleted content was footage that tended to corroborate the police officer's story.

So, that's why I wanted to take this rare opportunity to ask a liberal why he thought the media did this. But, instead of getting Rex's response, all I got was more evidence of why draconian sanctions is a kook.

I've been surprised at Rex's comments on the issue as well. He seems to be presenting the facts as they are known for open debate.

Which tells me here is here, the majority of the time, to troll the shite out of the board and the admins know it.

He could bring a lot more to the board if the approach is similar to this situation.

Rex is pretty much the only decent debater the left has in this forum since VOR just commentates.

Tuba, DS, kickadog, etc, just destroy every thread with stupidity and don't even try.

This is not the first, or only, time CNN has aired edited versions of video available to them. You can go back to the Rodney King incident. CNN did not show the beginning of the video in which it was evident that Rodney King was not being compliant with the police, and he was in fact resisting arrest. The full video was used as evidence to establish the context of the beating that resulted in the acquittals of the officers in their original trials.

CNN edits to create stories that will attract an audience, not to provide all the facts and allow the audience to draw its own conclusions.

In other words, I could bring a lot more to this board if I always agree with your middle-school level analyses of things. How would that add anything to a board already dominated by middle-school level analysis?

Isn't it funny that the only time I'm deemed "reasonable" is when I'm not defending someone you don't like? It's not me, buddy... it's YOU.

As for the question asked in the OP... sorry, I don't think this was worthy of its own thread and I don't think threads should be directed at one person, anyway... so I'll decline... not respectfully, mind you, because you're not deserving of any respect.

Sometime during the night, reasonable Rex turned back into retarded Rex.

Sorry to see that the legitimate issue of media bias makes you so uncomfortable, Bubba Gump.

"i don't like your views" = you're stupid

this is EXACTLY the kind of mentality i'm talking about. Why is it that posters like you can't handle an alternative point of view without resorting to personal attacks?

This times a thousand !

When Rex has time to put in his best effort, he's much better than those other idiots that you list.

Too often, Rex takes the easy fast track and posts a quick thought as a thread or post -- and that thread or post seems like a troll-job.

Does anyone have a link to proof of any of this? I don't doubt it, especially after the edited Zimmerman 911 call, but is this confirmed?

I would hope that you would be just as consistently impressed by those who self identify as Liberal (and sometimes Progressive) and their seeming inability to look at themselves critically as well as their general lack of self awareness as well.

But I doubt it.

Draconian Sanctions is the baseball equivalent of a .220 hitter who can't field his position and doesn't run well.

I seldom pay attention to him. He's like one notch above the likes of asurob and boosie, if that.
