It amuses me that people in their late 30's who try to go for high weight. At this age you want to tone up, not bench 300 plus pounds. It's not about strength, but trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Low weight and high reps. High weight at this age just increases chances of injury

And too much bulk is just going to cause knee and hip problems as they get older.

Tone up and get fit. Get to your Good fighting weight

Never said I was going for high weight.
