Yeah it's a dumb as all shite rule, but costing your team 15 yards on purpose is dumb. It doesn't bother me much in preseason, but I might lose my shite if he does it during the season.
I still don't understand why they didn't make it a penalty only if the game has to be stopped to adjust the goalposts after.

He won't even go near the goal posts in the regular season. Just getting it out of his system and flipping off Goddell for a stupid rule

The solution was to make it an ejection if the goal post is brought off balance. Safety issue justifies that.
