Last of Us on hardest setting is akin to playing a strike by yourself while being 4 levels below the recommended strike level. (this adds nothing to the conversation, I just needed to vent)

Make sure you're not in a party. If you aren't in a party, make sure your chat settings is prioritizing game audio. That's about all you can do. When you're in a party, it switches the voice to party chat vs game chat.

Just got to level 20 and I understand the whole needing light to level up past that, but that seems like a really low ceiling to put the real cap on leveling up.
Does anyone know how high you can get with light? I haven't seen anyone in the 30s

Level cap will be raised whenever they release more content. Ceiling purposefully low so that they can raise it with new harder content.

That's what I figured but hadn't heard anything specific
I just finished the dark garden mission with the heart and the three bosses you have to take down. That was a difficult one to run solo
