I believe he was asking if it still levels up even though his character doesn't because of max level, and yes, it still levels up your sub-class.

Best farming place I've found is on Venus. There is an area right past that library part where fallen and vex fight. There is a big crashed ship in the middle of that area. The enemies just keep respawning.
Go for headshots/weak spots and it increases your chances as well.

I haven't read through this whole thread to see if it has already been mentioned, but my big complaint at the moement is campaign levels that don't scale. I play a couple hours of multiplayer. Gain 3-4 levels early on and now all of a sudden I am too highly ranked to enjoy some of the campaign because it is too easy.

You can adjust the difficulty on story missions and strikes.

I'm still going through Venus at level 17, and the original mission is geared towards a level 12-13.. but if you up the difficulty it shoots up to 15-16. Not as easy, but still beatable if you are running by yourself.

At the bottom left of the launch screen, it says "Normal" in green. If you click it, you can change it to hard.

There is a video online describing an area on Venus with several caves that refresh with loot chests after crossing a pond. Can't remember where I found the video but its worth a search. Last night i found new ship blue prints as well as a bunch of uncommon gear. Also doing your daily lvl 20 missions drops a lot of blue engram's.
