School Makes Special Needs Students Dig Through Trash For Recyclables Seems like a valuable life skill to me. We had a teacher at my high school who taught the slower kids that weren't down syndrome(or anything super serious like that), just challenged. He started teaching them how to paint walls, labor skills, etc. "We've been trying to teach them fractions/algebra for 10 years, they aren't going to get it, they never will, so let's teach them something they can make a decent living doing." I couldn't agree more. He did label his classroom "Astrophysics"

They need to learn to get government handouts like the rest of the people that can't work.
