Already been stated the line doesn't make sense unless it was a metaphor, and therefore if part of his sentence is a metaphor then so could the "born" part

Calling something "home" doesn't mean you were born there. It means you lived there. When you move you get a new "home".

I agree that they probably wanted to go in another direction and Ledger's death altered their plans....and they will never admit that.

Y'all are trying to rationally think out and argue a plot point in a movie that was neither rational nor thought out.

This one, though, was trash.
