The film industry has been a boon for us, and the money the State has put up has been made up many times over in permits and other taxes. Hell my bum of a brother in law made over 70',000 dollars as a extra last yr. Now he has been doin it for 5 yrs now and gets good gigs. I don't quite understand why people think its cost us more than we've gotten back.These companies pay cites like Baton Rouge a good chunk of change to close streets. That ain't free , nor is other things such as that.
