I read that Fortt's move to OLB is official and he's been adjusting.

A good bit of our linebackers last year crossed trained at OLB after the rash of injuries. This is different though. He's playing SAM, which will require more pass rushing than he's use to, but he'll be covering TE's and setting the edge in run defense.

Harrelson and Dawson are the only OLB's from last year if Butler is a no go.
Powell is more like Jr I think.
Perhaps he's just better suited for the outside or they are looking for versatility.
