A couple highs/lows in team drills: LOTS of botched snaps with both QBs and Cs. ... More good stuff from Brandin Cooks.

Long McCown pass slides off fingertips of TE Josh Hill, who gets laid out by Vinnie Sunseri on second effort for ball.

Payton not pleased with today's practice "too many balls on the ground" and "one of our most flat practices" #SaintsCamp

I didn't even see the practice and I agree with him.

Regardless of the snapping issues, I still think Griffin is the obvious, best choice for the backup QB. He's accurate, decisive, and has a very good release on the ball.

#Saints Payton didn't give specifics on injuries. But indicated CBs Champ Bailey, Patrick Robinson should be back sooner than later.

Nice. I'm guessing (or at least hoping) we are just being overcautious with a lot of these guys (Grubbs, Evans, Byrd, Bailey, Brees, Still), and we can see them back by the 3rd preseason game.

My guess is Payton is being extra cautious this year with injuries, especially for the veterans and players that have experience in this system. He saw how lingering health issues plagued Colston and Evans last year.

another first round bust

It's so weird watching him run. He doesn't seem to be straining at all, and he's just gradually pulling away from everyone.
