It's worth noting that on Tuesday Chief Jackson told me Brown was not being stopped in relation to any criminal activity.

Don't stop now. I'm sure you can find a lot more links for people saying this crap over the last few days. Go ahead and find the links for witnesses that said he was 30ft away with his hands up when he was shot 8 times too. I'm sure they are all true. I promise

I like how the Captain came up and saved the governor. Someone had to tell these people plainly. He is the governor for the ENTIRE state.
He is still here giving attention.
Dumb people don't know how to ask questions to get answers. Every townie had to try and tell a long diatribe. The last girl was just horrible. He listened to her though.

Although a dash cam probably would not have captured much of the confrontation, the audio would have been quite a valuable tool in answering some of the unanswered questions.

How do you think the community of Ferguson is now viewed by the american public? In a positive or negative light?

I'm sure that if they don't know anything about St. Louis, they think negatively of them, like you do. It's a working class black neighborhood. It's not the hood. It's the headquarters of Emerson Electric. I have eaten lunch in town on more than one occasion. My cousin coached football up the street at McCluer. There's plenty of brick ranch houses with manicured yards. My friend runs his plumbing business out of there. If you want to think "Ferguson is a ghetto," go ahead. It's not.

It's either them or believing a police chief who has proven incompetent in this incident. And was being blasted for his actions during the protests by other police forces. Or when he relived of his job, the violence and riot died down.

I have no other reason to think otherwise b/c my perception is based on the events of this week. Has nothing to do with the color of the citizens either and all to do with the actions of what I saw on TV.

Doesn't help when the state senator that represents the area made so many ignorant comments either. All I could think was...they elected this idiot.

google Port Allen mayor Dee Dee Slaughter...we elect idiots down here also.

It's obvious the Capt. and Gov have taken a side in this to protect their jobs. Should have put someone in charge who doesn't have a dog in this fight. He's too close to the community to be impartial.

They say the last thing that happens before you die is you shite yourself.

He must have known it was coming, because he'd started to pull his pants down.
