Got no problem with demanding answers and demanding a full investigation. I do have a problem convicting someone prematurely so you can save yourself the next question. So to answer your last question, no, that's a stupid question and yes, those on Brown's side that have gone so far as to convict Wilson at this point are wrong. They are not wrong for demanding answers and a thorough investigation.
