Many might think you're being a "negatiger", but I agree with you. He was 91-94 and left many pitches up in the zone. But how much of that was due to nerves? Idk. He definitely got hit hard and was often lucky.

He did get lucky, but Ranaudo did not have a poor performance by any stretch in my opinion. He showed a lot of poise getting out of jams.

It was not my intention to be negative. I hope the guy makes it big. I am sure that nerves did play a part. He still has a lot of improving to do. He needs to strengthen his arm and get his fastball up to at least 95; even if he can do that he needs more pitches and better control.
