I'm not sure what you're comparing it to but there's no way a Prostaff's eye relief is superior to a Zeiss product.
i can fricking guarantee you the prostaff eye relief is better than the conquest. it is terrible "at least for me" i unloaded both zeiss i owned, will never use anything but nikon or leupold now. It may be different for different people but looking through both zeiss i had was like looking through something from walmart

This, not so much. At least you can give 4 an informed opinion about the Terra product.

Im just picking when I say this, but walmart sells both nikon and leupold. They dont sell Zeiss.
Not that my opinion matters, but the bigger the objective the better the scope will gather light. If you dont hunt at dusk/dawn then dont worry about it. Just because its a 56m obj doesnt necessarily mean its heavier either.
Eye relief can be a funny thing, most people dont even know how to set a scope up properly and therefor blame the scope. Not saying thats what happened here, just that it happens a lot.

On my primary hunting rifle I have a Leica 4.5-15x42 30mm. I wanted to get my backup rifle ready this summer and considered purchasing the Zeiss Terra; however, since it was Japanese made, I opted for a Burris 3-9x40 30mm instead - I have not regretted my decision.

Now you're just exaggerating.
Zeiss' high end glass is every bite and better than swarovski. I know, I've look through both each deer season. Their low end stuff, not so sure.
