Who said it had to be filmed in NOLA?

You could build the sets for a period piece such as this further inland. Hell, there's a ton of land just north of BR that would be great for sets.

It's not all going to be outside. Most will probably be inside buildings, as that's where political intrigue normally takes place.

listen ... i would love to see it, but it's not happening. I am thinking like a producer not a fan boy. if they can't get Confederacy made then I highly doubt this will get made. There are plenty of interesting historical events that will never make it to the big screen.
