Someone said that it is a logistical problem with the Decadence Festival

I know Whitney was in talks about it though

in London (wembley)

Why? What’s the upside to LSU or any other college football program to play a game in London? It screws the LSU fans. It screws the Baton Rouge business vendors. I suspect most players wouldn’t want to endure an eight hour flight. Why play a football game in London?

The players would love a trip to london

London doesn't make much sense though from a financial standpoint

That would be cool to play in San Antonio. Can you see us on the Riverwalk?? Probably lots of arrests for illegal swimming in the river while drunk...lol

I would go to Wembley.

If the game were part of a family vacation it might be something many would like to do. However I don’t imagine Joe Plant Worker forking over seven grand to fly his wife and two kids to London for a football game. With tickets, hotel and other sundry expenses that becomes quite an expenditure for a game.

probably not, but it would probably be attended by locals. It may attract international students and help spread the LSU brand.

Don't worry. At the pace we're giving away OOC home games, Tiger Stadium will soon be a neutral field.

Once that happens maybe we'll finally get a quality OOC opponent in Baton Rouge.

I think you’re right. Most of the people sitting in the stands will be people who didn’t have to make a transatlantic flight to get there. You’re also right about the extended exposure for the school being beneficial.

However, and this is just my opinion, a London game does little for LSU fans and nothing for the Baton Rouge business community. I’m an on-campus guy. That’s where the games need to be played.

I don't disagree. I wish LSU would cut out the Dallas games and just play a neutral game in Houston every few years.

If Wisconsin is open to a home and away, we should schedule it in addition to these 2 neutral site games.

Play in Tiger Stadium in 2015 and Madison in 2017. Would create a nice OOC rivalry

Here is a solution to make everyone happy. Turn it into a 3 game series. Have a home and home with each school playing a game at their home stadium, and let the 3rd game of the series be at a neutral or destination site.
