even if it didnt kill thr rabbit, its a poisonous snake in his yard,so it should die.
I'm done even trying to argue with this board on this topic. I've given up. It's like when you run into that kid who says "my dad said tigers can jump 125 feet" and you know no matter what you say his mind is made up. That battle is lost, I know.
I'm just genuinely curious why he thinks the snake killed it. Maybe it did. It's possible. There just wasn't a lot of linking evidence in his post.

If your battle is to try to sway others from killing rattlesnakes in their yard it's a dumb arse battle anyway.
In pet rabbit news, we had one when I was a kid named Bugs. Original rabbit namers we were not. Kept Bugs in an elevated cage out back. One night a big thunderstorm blew thru and knocked his cage over. Next day we find it knocked over, door open, rabbit gone. We searched high and low for a couple days a couldn't find him. Then it gets time to mow the yard and dad tells me to go pick the cage up and throw it in the burn pile. So I did. And when I picked it up there was Bugs, smished flat as a pancake under the cage. It was a gruesome sight. RIP Bugs.
