Great article OP. I am primarily a scotch drinker and hope that is still truthful and/or transparent.
What about Tito's boondock? My wife likes it. She was formally a Ketel drinker ($24 per bottle) and likes Tito's for ($18 per bottle). I figured Tito's capabilities could not match demand and something shady was being done to stock the shelves.

I'm interested in that as well. I rotate between Stoli and Tito's depending on which one is cheaper when I need to buy some vodka. I don't have a lot of brand loyalty, but both of those seem pretty smooth for the price point and since I mix vodka for screwdrivers and bloody marys, I'm not paying over $18 for a fifth.
