I'm actually pretty liberal myself, but this movement has gone drama queen. I recall reading a quote along the lines of, "I don't shine the light in my own bedroom and sure as hell don't want to shine it on yours. But this goes beyond that. Your appearance matters. You can't just go chopping your genitals off and changing your name without changing how you represent a company.

Last I heard, at the federal level sexual orientation was not a protected class outside of Obama's recent EO for federal contracts.

It does appear to contradict the claim that people are "born that way."
