Not all Italian restaurants are alike.

I love traditional Italian. I love the cannelloni at Vincent's. I have enjoyed every meal I've had at Cafe Giovanni. Some don't care for it. I love Domenica.

I personally don't care for Giovanni nor Mosca's.

Same. I think traditional old school Italian has a certain charm about it, and the food is so comforting and rich and filling. I am a sucker for rich, carby food.

I love Domenica too, though. And in general, I pick places like Domenica over places like Vincent's (mainly because certain people I dine with always choose old school Italian, so I know I don't need to get it when I'm choosing on my own).

I haven't had a ton of Italian in New Orleans. Other than Domenica and Vincent's, I just don't want to get Italian when I'm visiting.
