The only problem with your logic is... well it's with your logic. The game isn't in Dallas. It's in Houston. But I will admire your tenacity in taking up for LSU.

People should really learn to read the whole thread before posting. I already admitted this but Thanks for pointing out a fact

When I went to the Oregon game they said we had no shot. We had never seen speed like that. I just kept saying okay. talk about speed lol. All fan bases are delusional. Just got to support your team and let the chips fall

LF will not even be the leading LSU rusher (in total yards), but he will break a 60yd+ TD run in 4th quarter.

Tigahs 38-20.

The media nationally is loving Wisconsin lately. They have an easy schedule and could very well be in their conference championship game. Playing us early when we are so young gives them an advantage but nobody know how we will look. We have to stop the run early and often but if it's a close game they may wear us down. Based on what we saw last year I know they can run and score on us. I just hope we can play the field position battle and get a few turnovers. Otherwise they can easily win. I think we pull out a close one but won't be surprised if we lose.

What you are experiencing is called BIG TEN elitism. That whole conference thinks it's still God's gift to football.

Considering the irrelevance of Wisconsin football pre-Barry Alvarez, I don't think that is it... at all.

I believe if you ventured around to various B1G message boards (save Ohio State, maybe), all understand where the conference stands at this juncture.

Interesting read: LINK

The Badgers are accustomed to opening against lesser foes — they crushed visiting Massachusetts, 45-0, last season — and haven't opened against a ranked foe since 1997, when they suffered a 34-0 loss to No. 17 Syracuse in East Rutherford, N.J.

t's a great thing to have. You're not just talking about getting ready for the season. You're talking about getting ready for LSU.

"I think it means a lot. I certainly have that game circled for our team. It's not a league game...but it's us representing the Big Ten against an SEC school. It is us representing ourselves."

quote:

Everybody talks about the SEC being more athletic and faster. But if you watch the Capital One Bowl, if that was true they would have blown us out of the water.

"We hung in there with them. A couple plays here or there and it would have been a different game.

If Mett had played LSU would have won by at least 3 TD's.

They feel this way mainly due to their running game. They laugh when I talk up Buga & Co. I'm in enemy territory for sure, but I just thought I'd let everyone know that from the average Wisconsin fan's point of view, LSU gets ZERO respect.

I'd lose respect for them if they didn't think we had no chance.

All you have to tell them is our O-Line is going to wear down their D front and it's going to be an arse-whoopin'.

We'll have 2 backs rush over 100 yards

This very well may hold true for Wisconsin, too.

Not sure why this would cause you to lose respect. The majority of every fan base throughout the country is not realistic.

I know it seems obvious that they say Wisky will win, but you should hear the scores they're predicting, essentially it won't even be close.

You've literally described most fans of every team LSU has played from a big conference in an OOC game since 2000. It's rare that you'll see fans of another big time program suggest defeat is likely or even an option, especially for season openers.

That being said, history is not on their side...

Wisconsin has no returning starters in the front 7 on D

It's going to be a long night versus our O-Line and RB's.

LSU's D will be better than you think
