sounds like that body heat thing may not work if the symptoms haven't shown.. They would just be treated for malaria, cholera, or typhoid...

Good point. Having medical professionals screening people getting off international flights at the airport would not work to stop Ebola. and who cares if people with things like malaria, cholera, or typhoid come on in? Sure, those three diseases combine to kill off about 1.5 million people worldwide every year. But that's not a big deal.
