Had a hot tooth and was targeted for a root canal. He patched it with an anesthetic filling to calm it down and went after it a month later.
Last week he prepped it for a crown and avoided the root canal. fricking awesome dentist.
Eta: while I have 2 insurance coverages, it would setback the uninsured $1800/tooth.
