VPN and router question - please help

Problem: Since I cut the cord, I will not be able to watch the Saints on TV. Moreover, the NFL Sunday Ticket on the iPad does not let you watch local games. To the question...
Is there a way have the VPN go through the router, so that all wireless devices on the wifi show up at the VPN location?
(I know there is a better way to ask this question.)
ETA: Feel free to ignore this post. I just found out that there are VPNs specifically for iPads.

I don't think so (router based redirection; maybe an open source firmware?) but why not just use the OTA signal?
