I used Rustoleum kits for about 820 sq/ft. Two of the epoxy kits for the base and then two kits of the clear epoxy with anti-skid additive. I only used about 2/3 of the ant-skid additive as I think too much makes the floor too rough.
On the prep side, note that if your base is MDF and it is level with the floor, it will absorb some water. Tape it off at the base where it touches the slab.
I figure I've got about $800 in material costs.
