Either chemical or with a floor grinder would work. IMHO, I'd rent the grinder and then etch with muratic acid. You won't get another chance to go back and prep once it is rolled on

Well, I didn't grind. Just etched with acid. (Hope this works)

Put the base color coat down on Wednesday and put the clear epoxy down on Friday afternoon.

Can walk on it now and it will be car-ready on Tuesday.
