Who's kicking field goals this year?

He might have missed it.
He did miss it. Because Les rushed the field goal unit onto the field late.

You really aren't very bright are you? I underlined COULD HAVE COST THE GAME.
Did missing that kick cost LSU the game or not?
Who won the freaking game?
Why are you crying about a loss that didn't happen?
Posted on 7/27/14 at 5:42 pm to Gray Tiger
You are the one crying dude. All I said was it could have cost us the game. Not that it did.

That is precisely the point.
Here is a nice thread complimenting the LSU kickers and you have a need to find something derogatory that didn't happen to post?
LSU won the game.
Who cares what might have been?
Look at it this way; your mom might have given you away to a roving band of gypsies right after you were born.

The thread is about how consistent lsu's kickers have been under Les. Which is a very good point, and that consistency has probably won us several games. No to mention the fake FG's against SC and Florida that played major roles in big wins.
But it's only fair to mention that '12 was an outlier and Alleman was markedly less consistent that year than other LSU kickers have been, especially from longer distances. In that Alabama game we drove to in between their 30-35 yard line 5 times only to come away with zero points bc of missed FG's or botched fakes or attempted 4th down conversions bc Les had no confidence in Alleman from 45-50 yards. That's not being negative, it's a fact. It's a thing that happened

Dude wtf are you bitching about. I already said how great our kickers have been recently and just because we won means we can't discuss any negatives from the game?

Why? Why discuss negatives in a game we won? Why?
LSU won the game. The field goal made or missed had no impact on the outcome of the game.
Who cares about some might-have-beens?
Why do you feel compelled to focus on neqatives, even in victories?
What is it with you negatives types?
Posted on 7/27/14 at 6:12 pm to Gray Tiger
In no way am I being negative by stating he missed an important field goal in a thread about past field goal kickers. Get over yourself

How is missing a field goal that had no impact on the outcome of the game important?
Posted on 7/27/14 at 6:40 pm to Gray Tiger
At the time it happened it was an important play. We ended up winning but that doesn't mean it wasn't important. I don't know why you are so worried about this.

How many years ago was this? You are obsessing on a play that had no impact on the outcome of the game?
What is it with people like you that can't stand anything positive? You always have to chime in with a "yes, but" someplace.
LSU has had some really great kickers.
And to please all you negative Nancys out there.....but they didn't make every one they tried.
That better for you?

ETA: Sorry Toula... my opening comments not directed at you at all. Thanks for posting a GREAT topic that I completely agree with and have reflected on over the years. Amazing run. It's truly sad that each and EVERY post on this forum gets run over by numbnuts in a pissing match or whining. they sound more like my 7-year old twins than any TRUE Tiger fans.
