With our patience with coaches, I have no idea why we would give him 4 years

Why are they stuck on hiring recycled fired coaches lately?

Byron Scott's championship knowledge and Carlos Boozer at small forward is obviously what this team was missing last year.

The rest of the West needs to prepare it's anus. Lakers going in dry.

how in the frick did he get that kinda deal? why do I feel like Kupchak is over there trying to do reasonable shite and Jim Buss is doing his best Dolan impression and overruling him?

I never understood this with the NBA. Why do teams that know they are tanking go out and hire retreads for a few years and then actually look for a coach in a couple years? Why not go out and hire a young promising coach for a 2 year stint? If he is actually a good coach, you are set for the future, if he is not a good coach you are in the same boat you would be in with a Byron Scott/Mike Woodson

There's an outside chance Al Sharpton protests the hire... another black man thrown into a no win situation
