Only one thing, and correct me if I'm wrong, but they are powered by PoE. Most home routers don't have switchport PoE. This is going to be an additional cost to the home user.

It's a specialized three prong adapter with 2 ethernet jacks on it. You plug the three prong into the wall, and then one jack goes from the adapter to the access point (providing power to the AP), and the other jack goes into your switch/router. If you have two or more of them, the others can uplink to one another wirelessly without the need to plug every one of them into a switch.
