It looks scarier than it is. But I could feel it trying to push my jeep into the next lane the winds were so strong.

I didn't see it approaching.....it was already over us when I left for work.

I had to get gas in that thing

Wind blowing all crazy and sky is just brown as I'm pumping gas.

Funniest thing is watching birds trying to fly in it. The winds basically just toss them all over the place....looks like they are flying drunk.

Had a few of those blow through Oklahoma both times I lived there.

Never had to drive through one, though, damn

Yeah....everything has dust on it.

Suuuuuuuckks if you have a pool

No other damage though. Wind may knock power lines down but that's about it. With the monsoon season it usually rains sometimes after

That would piss me off the most.....I'd be outside with a water hose for the rest of the day.

I bet the lines for car washes are crazy the day after

Sometimes. Thing is.....during monsoon season the dust storms happen sometimes several times a week. So no point getting car washed when it might happen the next day.

My phone has been going off like crazy with all the automated dust storm warnings this week

I was just about to say the same thing about washing your car out there. Not much point in it. Kinda like out here with all the new construction dust all over. Wash your car it is dirty the next day.
