i think the point is to generate some interest in posting your daily results during duck season. if one of the teams is going to destroy everyone else, no one's going to give a shite about the competition. if it's closer between the teams, you drum up a lot more interest for duck season, which is kind of the whole point. just my 2 cents.

Well looking at it like that I would say to keep this format. We have more players than previous years so I think it will be successful -and more competitive given the new rules (zone regulations).
Like he said, the more competitive the more fun everybody will have.
ETA: retracted my lasts post because I didn't think we had as many people but we have a shitload signed up

That would make 7 teams of 5 plus two additions... If we could get three more people that would be awesome

I was messing around with it earlier and had 40 on the list and did a drawing from each zone to come up with 8 teams of 5

Not playing this year but just took a look, how in the hell did specks get worth less than Mallards or Pins? If anything they should be equal or more.

Alright he is what I came up with. I took everyone's name and split up by zone. Drew names to fill out the list. After each zone the extras were put aside and the collective was drawn upon at the end. Each team has 1 from NELA,NWLA, and a wildcard. And 2 from SELA and SWLA. Each team also has one extra from the leftovers for a total of 8 per team. Here are the teams.

So only hunts in the state of LA count? Can I sneak in a TX hunt and what about if you cross zones? NELA is home turf but I also show up on Catahoula, in Vinton, and in Hackberry from time to time.

You can hunt anywhere. The zones were just to determine teams. It was where you hunt most. I think you were counted as a wild card anyway which is an out of state person. If you kill ducks you can post them no matter which zone.
