The speech Spartacus gives in the pool at the end made me want to frick shite up.

I hate to overstate, but for my viewing tastes, everything was pretty much perfect, eg, the writing, the performance.
I tend to view some of the big speech scenes in movies as cliched or trite, but that was a great one.
I'm gonna have to go to the real season 2 next, I don't want to watch the prequel one yet.

I don't know man. You will see Gannicus pop up in season 2 and probably wonder who the frick this guy is. The prequel season is all about him.

definitely want to watch the prequel next.
I am the same way, I loved the series. I wish the producers would spin off a similar series.
Season 1 and the prequel are the best though. The last seasons arent as good IMHO. Batiatus was my fav character by far.

There's only six episodes so it'seasy to breeze through them, and you'll hit the coolest episode of the series, IMO, with the prequel finale.

prequel/season 1 naevia could get it as well.

This show ranks up there with Lonesome dove in my book. Not saying it's better, but pretty damn close
