The pool will be near the Perch, and will have a live DJ. If you have ever been to the W Hotel pool on Sundays in the summer the past few seasons (closed now) it will be an atmosphere similar to that. Definitely a cabana club atmosphere. The theory is that it will attract models and hot girls, which could get more men to come to Pelican games.

i was there today. it looked like the glass framing is mostly up on the NE entrance to the NW side. The Pelicans nest is all gone- no more merch. They still have more framing to do. The porch is still going up on the Northside too. After the Justin Timberlake concert on Aug 3, the construction will really take off for there will not be any events in the building till Pels Season.
