I'm not going to argue semantics on the term "begging" but Blackwell, Bobby and others have said that players asked the staff about making changes, those requests were denied. What I have never heard directly is how much of those inquisitions were made during bowl prep and during the game.

Because you went from saying 2 players on the o line to saying blackwell and a players father, to now Blackwell, bobby and others. That's why I am responding to you saying t-bob said nothing happened, the player that prob has the most gripe because he didn't play a down.

Yeah a cowards apology on twitter, saying he was joking, when in fact he wasn't. The apology is worse.

Um, no I didn't. Seriously, it's pretty obvious you have problems comprehending what people say but this is what I said.

Thats two people, either on or VERY closely related to the offensive line that has said the same thing.

now this makes two people either on the offensive line or very close to the offensive line who have publicly, and angrily called out Les Miles for not having a contingency plan

Because two have publicly said the same thing

there were players on the offensive side of the ball who did not agree with the offensive approach and personnel and voiced their displeasure during preparation

Maybe I should have reworded "Blackwell, Bobby and others have said that players asked the staff about making changes" to "Blackwell, Bobby and at least one other have said that players asked the staff about making changes"

Not really sure if that is the entire point of your argument that I made other plural or not, so if so, you win. I meant, at least one other.

I can just see offensive players going up to a OC, OL, RB, or head coach whose team is 13-0 and saying I'm displeased with the job you are doing or the personnel you are using.

Anyone believing that crap never played the game. A coach and a player can laugh, poke fun at each other, and even get angry at each other, but the relationship is always the coach does the coaching and the player does as he's told without debate.

LSU should have never had to play that game to begin with. LSU got so screwed it's ridiculous. We are still talking about that one Mulligan game that should have never happened instead of what we should be discussing; one of the best LSU teams to ever step on the field in 2011.

Exactly. It was all smiles and hugs when we were running through the greatest season in LSU history.

The dude, and a couple of others, played like an absolute bitch contributing to his teams downfall at the hands of another fantastic team. And rather than accepting that, he's convinced himself that he and others tried to prevent it from happening.

It reeks of revisionist history by a player that has bought into the crap from Miles bashers that he's been reading on the rant over the past two years.

Like I've said, and 4444 has refused to answer, what coach would put up with such idiotic demands from their players??? In what world is that reasonable??

This isn't West Canaan. Willy and Bobby wanted to run the Oopty frickin Oop

What is there to answer. You are taking something something someone said happened, but saying it didn't happen because it wouldn't happen.

I didn't answer because there I see no benefit in arguing about a hypothetical conversation when it isn't very relevant to the conversation at hand.

You choose to believe those conversations never took place because they never would take place and Blackwell is just mad because he got outplayed. I am not trying to convince you.

I disagree, and have given the evidence that makes me think otherwise.

I don't really see what else there is to argue about.

And that is another problem I have with attacking the plan. I don't even believe we as fans are able to know what the full plan actually was. The OL was so atrocious, both running and passing plays literally never had time to develop before getting blown up in the backfield.

That's just it. The outcome was horrible, but we don't know much beyond that.

Yea frick his apology. Don't blast your old school's coach on social media and then there's no need to apologize. And people who have big corporate "fortune 100" jobs need to delete the twitter app anyways.

It sucks that they did but it's obvious Alabama was the best team well 2nd best at the time. LSU would have beat OSU so they weren't the better team. BCS got it right. I don't like it but the only team that would have beat LSU that year got into the game and made the most of it.

No I won't get over it. You don't trash a great man like Les Miles and think an apology will make everything better. frick Will Blackwell.
