To the OP: I stopped at Team Toyota in BR to look at one the other day with the wife and kids. I told the salesman I didn't have time to drive it or haggle over prices. I asked him to give me a ballpark on the deal he could do. He of course gave me the old "there's just not much profit built into this model and no rebates right now." I told him I would be in touch. The he said "I would like to at least get $500 over invoice so I can make something off the deal." I told him I paid much less than invoice on my truck and he responded by saying that's likely because of all the rebates and incentives I got (which is true). I told him I had to go and he asked me to please give him a chance to see what he can give me. I may go back if I decide to buy that car. My wife totaled her car so I need one pretty quick, but I won't tell the salesman that.
